Q: What is a coreless paper rewinding machine? How does it work?

A: Coreless paper rewinding machine is a special equipment that can wind roll materials (such as paper, non-woven fabric, aluminum foil, etc.) into finished rolls without the use of paper tubes or steel cores.
Working principle: It is achieved through a core device called the "winding head". At the beginning, the material is guided to the winding head. The head of the material is "pinched" and rolled up by air pressure or mechanical means. Through precise tension control and a specific winding curve, the material itself is layered with each other to form a solid and neat inner hole, thus replacing the traditional tube core.

Q: Compared with traditional core-filled rolls, what are the advantages of coreless rolls?

A: Cost reduction: It completely eliminates the costs and procedures of purchasing, managing and installing paper tubes/steel cores.

A: It is suitable for materials with certain stiffness, tensile strength and good friction coefficient. Common ones include:

Films and foils: Certain types of plastic films and aluminum foils (equipment capacity matching is required).

Q: How to set the parameters to roll out a tight and neat coreless roll?

A: The parameter Settings need to be finely adjusted
Initial tension: The tension at the beginning of winding is of vital importance. If the tension is too small, a solid inner hole cannot be formed; if it is too large, it will result in the inability to bite in or break.
Tension taper: Taper tension control must be adopted. As the roll diameter increases, the tension should gradually decrease to prevent the inner layer from being crushed (resulting in "chrysanthemum patterns").
Roller pressure: The pressure curve of the roller also needs to be set. A high initial pressure is conducive to forming, while a low pressure in the later stage prevents it from being too tight.
Preset roll diameter: Accurately set the diameter of the finished roll to enable the equipment to calculate the taper curve and decelerate and stop at the correct position.
