Q: Why is the tightness (tension) of the winding at the four workstations inconsistent?

A: This is a common challenge for four-station slitting machines, and the reasons include
Mechanical differences: There are minor performance differences among the magnetic powder clutches/brakes (or servo motors) of the four reels.
Parameter Settings: Have tension parameters been set separately for each workstation? It is necessary to check whether the Settings are correct.
The diameter of the material coil: Even if started simultaneously, the diameters of the four material coils may still show slight differences due to sliding and other reasons, affecting the tension stability.
Aluminum foil path: After slitting, the length of the foil strip path flowing to each workstation and the number passing through the guide rollers may vary, resulting in different tension losses.
Solution: Try to use paper tubes from the same mother roll as much as possible; Regularly calibrate the tension controllers of each winding shaft; Try to set the fine-tuning compensation value for each workstation on the operation panel.
